He was predeceased by : his parents, Allen Wilson and Paree Burch. He is survived by : his wife Pearl Burch of Monroe; his children, John Perry (Melissa) of Oakman, AL, James Perry of Columbia, Jennifer Baum of Alexandria and Christina Wood of Alexandria; and his siblings, Betty Cruse of West Monroe, Peggy Harbor of West Monroe, James Eddie Burch of Arkansas, Linda Womack of Angleton, TX, Amy Thomas of West Monroe, Wanda Gay Viereck (Dwight) of Bastrop and Debbie Elliott (Bill) of West Monroe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, June 11th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Antioch Cemetery (LA-126, Goldonna, LA 71031).
