He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Broussard and Nellie Carpenter Broussard; and his sisters, Mary Jane Wakeland and Margaret Ann Moldenhauer. He is survived by: his wife Jean Broussard of Mooringsport, LA; his children, Pam Stewart (Ed) of Shreveport, LA, Tammy Johnson (Ralph) of Shreveport, LA and Erik Broussard (Mindi) of Hosston, LA; and his grandchildren, Alex Johnson (Brookelyn) of Shreveport, LA, Kade Stewart (Mackenzi) of Madison, AL and Lauryn LaPrarie (Tyler) of Springhill, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oil City United Pentecostal Church (701 LA-1, Oil City, LA 71061). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
