He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rachel and Ruby Rachel; his siblings, Tommy Rachel and Mary Frances Yates; and his brother-in-law Wayne Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Viddie Rachel of Mooringsport; his daughter Kelli Rachel Rehak (Bill) of Shreveport, LA; and his grandchildren, Matt Haltom (Leilani Padilla), Bayle Rachel, Kati Perkins (Kyle) and Jacob Rachel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
