It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Williams of Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anderson Williams; her daughters, Angelette Haynes and Peggy Marie Williams; her granddaughter Lakisa Renek Williams; her parents, Joseph Carter and Alma Jones; her stepmother Nancy Carter; and her siblings, Sean Carter, Jimmy Carter, Sr. and Tammy Carter.
She is survived by: her son Caffery Williams, Sr. of Morgan City, LA; her grandchildren, Ronald Williams (Chartney) of Lafayette, LA, Ladarius Matthews of Houma, LA, Alexis Williams of Morgan City, LA, Wayne Haynes, Jr. (Ketwanda), Tamika Rhodes (Dwayne), Christopher Haynes, Carl Williams, Jr., Kendrick Williams and Nakita Jordan; and her siblings, Pastor Donald Bogan (Lena) of Thibodaux, LA, Don Carter, Sr. (Anna) of Patterson, LA, Greg Carter of Morgan City, LA, Joe Bogan (Judith) of New Orleans, LA, Marion Carter, Regina Carter of Patterson, LA and Pamela Morrison (Samuel) of Morgan City, LA. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting).
