He was predeceased by : his mother Leona Garrett Louis; his daughter Liza Robinson; and his brother Donald Lee Williams. He is survived by : his girlfriend Audrey Mae Austin-Calhoun of Verdunville, Louisiana; his children, Danny Ray Robinson, Jr. of Morgan City, Louisiana, Martine Minor (Samson) of Berwick, Raven Minor (Timothy) of Sulphur and Payton Bailey of Amelia, Louisiana; his stepchildren, Jessica Calhoun (Eric) of Norfolk, Virginia, Samantha Snyder (Daniel) of Norfolk, Virginia and Lamonta Thomas (Kimberly); and his sister Mary Lee Dangerfield. He is also survived by four brothers, one sister, thirteen grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bayou Vista Community Center (1333 Bellview St, Morgan City, LA 70380). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
