He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Yvonne Singleton Morris (Siracusa) of Morgan City; his daughter Avonna Morris; his siblings, Grace Blackburn (Herbert) of Patterson, LA, Dianne Ventress (Kerry) of Verdunville, LA, Elizabeth Williams (Christopher) of Verdunville, LA, Rose Francis Johnson of Austin, TX, Earnest Ventress (Bethonia) of St. Helena Island, SC, McKinley Ventress (Tintin) and Earl Ventress (Jennifer) of Jeanerette, LA; his siblings-in-law, Faye Johnson (Kenneth) of New Iberia, LA, Gail Singleton of New Orleans, LA, Elaine Skinner (Isiah, Jr.) of Patterson, LA and Herbert Gordon Singleton (Chelsie) of Patterson, LA; his mother Grace Lee Ventress; and his parents-in-law, Herbert Singleton and Louise Singleton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Friday February 19, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting).
