She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph Brashear; her children, Amanda Brashear, Ora Lee Brashear, Gwendolyn Brashear-Brown, Ronald Brashear and Alton Brashear; her parents, Burnell Gray, Sr. and Gladys Clark Gray; her siblings, Marlene Jenkins, Mary-Esther Baytop, Daniel Gray and Rudolph Gray; and her grandchildren, Leah Owens, Alton Castille, Fred Owens and Edward Robertson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Suzette Elaine Brashear of Youngsville and Mary Priscilla Pool of Morgan City, Louisiana; and her siblings, Burnell Gray, Jr. of San Francisco, Dwayne Gray of Gray, Louisiana, Sheila Gray of Morgan City, Louisiana, Hazel Morris of Baton Rouge and Gladys Marie Ruffin (Raymond Ruffin, Sr.) of Morgan City, Louisiana. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.
