It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Charles of Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her fiancé Ronald Lee Johnson of Morgan City, LA; her children, Alvin Joseph Francois of Morgan City, LA, Marla Ann Levine (Patrick) of Bayou Vista, LA, Pebble Marie Francois of Patterson, LA and Pam Marie Batist of Alexandria, LA; and her sisters, Lilla Mae Charles of Patterson, LA and Corrine Charles of Port Arthur, TX. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A public walk through viewing will be conducted from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home 715 Sixth Street Morgan City, LA. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC/local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing with the recommendation of signing the registry book, viewing and exiting).
