Sybil Joyce Matson Duet Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sybil Joyce Matson Duet in Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Leonard Matson and Helen Virginia Alexander; and her son David A. Duet. She is survived by: her husband William J. Duet; her children, Tad Duet (Debbie), Kim D. Pruitt (Vernon) and Michelle D. Crull (Bruce); her grandchildren, Lauren, Caitlin, Elizabeth, Connor, Olivia, Jacob, Ethan, Lillian and Jake; her great grandchildren, Ava, Luke, Luna and Eloise; and her son-in-law William Charles Long. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1610 Evangeline Rd, Jennings, LA 70546).
