It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Roy Blanchard of Napoleonville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Alonia Boudreaux Blanchard; his son Mark James Blanchard; his parents, Abby Blanchard and Cora Blanchard; and his siblings, Hayward "Be Bop" Blanchard, Bonnie Blanchard and Lily Rose Blanchard.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Blanchard Gonzales and Keith Blanchard (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Dawn Barrient (Chris), Candace Davidson (Jeff), Rebecca Campagna (Dustin), Evy Rodrigue (Freddie), Kayli Blanchard (Michael), Samantha Blanchard and Alex Templet (Allen); his siblings, Alice Sternfels and Ronnie Blanchard; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Blanchard. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
