He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dozia Aucoin and Luna LeBlanc Aucoin (New Iberia); his wife Shirleen Hebert Aucoin; his daughters, Celeste A. Peltier (Todd) and Candace A. Comeaux (Vince); his grandchildren, Chalisse Peltier Gould (Andrew) and Nicholas Comeaux; and his daughter Victoria Liberto.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
