She was predeceased by: her former husband Gayle Derouen; her parents, Edwin Fabre and Effie Fremin Fabre; and her sister Helen Fabre Vitter. She is survived by: her daughter Tracie Derouen of New Iberia; her sibling's children, Star Al-Alousi, Layla Al-Alousi Robertson and Layth Al-Alousi; and her sister Barbara Fabre Lopez.
