She was predeceased by: her children, Jessie Joseph II, Darnell Joseph and Rene Joseph; her parents, Mose Sims and Eva Belle Neal-Sims; and her great grandchild Zayden.

She is survived by: her husband Jessie Joseph, Sr.; her children, Sandra Hutchinson (James) of Houston, TX, Lisa Joseph-Triggs (Austin), Angela Joseph of Raceland, LA, Kesha Miller (Dwight) of Fresno, TX and Oscar Gray, Jr. (Tylene) of New Iberia, LA; her sister Noddie Bell Durham-Robinson (Raymond) of Apple Valley, CA; her grandchildren, Latonya Joseph, Quiana Williams (Joe), Tony Joseph, Shantia Joseph, Anton Joseph, Jessie Joseph III, Charelle Lewis (Anthony), KeOnta Gray, Damarcus Gray, Adrian Jenkins, Nathaniel Gray, Mariah Gray, Darnell Joseph and Shamar Joseph; and her caregivers, Lakeisha Mitchell and Trudell Pharr.

All guests of the family are asked to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
