She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Verret and Edmae Sonnier Verret. She is survived by: her family Mary Ann; her husband Ricky Gachassin, Sr.; her children, Ricky Verret (Linda), Fran Romero Randazzo, Joseph Romero, Robert Labit, Sr. (Susan), James R. Gachassin, Jr. (Sherry) and Nola Mae Gachassin; her grandchildren, Jeremy Randazzo, Monica Romero, Becca Barattini, Katherine Adams, Dustin Labit, Robert Labit, Jr., Abigail Labit, Tyler Gachassin, Kelsey Gachassin, Kayley Gachassin, Justice Watson, Cain Watson and Lee Frederick; her brother Larry Verret (Evelina); her pet Honey; her sons, Byron Labit and Shannon Labit; her siblings, Oswald "Red" Verret, Lloyd "Johnny" Verret and Wyva Verret Delahoussaye; her in-laws, Voorhies Gachassin and Mabel Landry Gachassin; and her daughter-in-law Linda. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
