The memory of Michelle Renee Hymel (New Iberia, Louisiana), born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 34, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her brother Joshua Julius Hymel; her grandparents, Neda Dupuis and Dennis Joseph Hymel, Sr.; her uncle Dennis Joseph Hymel, II; and her aunt Charlene Annette Hymel.

She is survived by : her parents, Monique Renee Hymel and Gene Lamar Dale; her boyfriend Scott Michael Davis; her children, Callen Joshua Hymel, Mariska Renee Hymel, Mi'kel Joshua Ryker Smith and Shelby Zaluski; her grandmother Evelyn Hymel; her sister-in-law Starla H. DeRouen; her niece Aliana Renee Trahan; her nephews, Kash Lamar Hymel and Cruz Israel Hymel; and her aunts, Deborah Hymel, Ericka Watson and Cynthia Hymel. She is also survived by mother to her children.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
