As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peggy Verret may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Verret and Thelma Bayone Jolet Verret. She is survived by : her husband Ned Joseph Broussard; her siblings, Allen Verret, Jr., Brenda Verret Robin and Michael Verret (Dean); her caregivers, Rody and Gwen Barrilleaux; her brother-in-law Allen Robin; and her friend Mary Lee Badeaux. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Evangeline Funeral Home (314 E St Peter St, New Iberia, LA 70560).
