She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Bryant Elks II; her parents, Charles A. Gogreve Jr. and Jewell St. Amant Gogreve; and her brother Donald J. Gogreve. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle (Jamey) and Lauren (David); her stepson Charlie Elks III (Letitia); her siblings, Barbara Mccurdy (Annette), Charles A. Gogreve III, Bart M. Gogreve (Joan), Jay R. Gogreve (Sharon) and Jack E. Gogreve (Giovanna); and her grandchildren, Casey, Julianne, John Mark Lee, Amelia, Hannah, Katelyn, Audrey Widener, Lizzy and Bryant Elks IV. She is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, a great nephew and 2 great nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Christian Center (5885 Fleur De Lis Dr, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
