She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wilson and Victoria Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Sylvester James Kaywood Jr.; her daughters, Juana Nikki Kaywood and Shayla Jeriece Kaywood-Ford (Jude Ford); her grandsons, Landen James Kaywood and Lathen Jamar Ford; and her siblings, Bethelwel Wilson, Sr., Rev. Lefird Wilson (Vickie), Geraldine Wilson, Betty Wilson, Florence Wilson, Lula Wilson-Parker and Minister John Al Wilson (Betty).

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1823 Washington Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115).
