It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Perkins of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 15, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Perkins-Peters and Mary Perkins-Peters; her siblings, Carolyn Perkins, Janie Henry, Barbara Williams, Wilfred Banks, Willam Wardell Peters, Sterling Mayer, Wilbert Peters and Horace Peters; and her siblings' children, Mary Ann Deal, Ryan II and Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Marie and Monica Lynn Perkins; her grandchildren, Latoya Dorsey (Patrick), Keven Perkins Sr., Rishawn Perkins, Torrey Adams Jr. (Kaela), Jermika and Tatyana Perkins; her great grandchildren, Taja, Liyah Wilson, Benjamin Jr., Robyn Frank, Kahlea, Torrey Adams III, Akiley Sanders, Paytin and Prin; her great great grandchild Layla Marie White; her children, Sherri Buckley, Mark Anthony Perkins and Kevon Marrero; and her siblings, Evalina London, Joseph Peters and Eddie Peters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.
The visitation will begin 9 a. m. and the celebration of life services will begin at 10 a. m. Pastor Cornell Sisler officiating and interment will be private. Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
