She was predeceased by: her husband Paul "Granny" Joseph Higgins; her parents, Louis Davis, Sr. and Sophie Byes Davis; her brother Louis Davis, Jr.; her sister-in-law Edna Davis; and her son-in-law Keith McGinnis.
She is survived by: her children, Bryancha McGinnis, Tynicqua Higgins, Paulljannet Higgins, Pernella LaFrance, Anne Higgins and Nicole Briscoe; and her siblings, Andrew Davis, Rodney Davis, Michael Dixon, Darren Dixon, Corey Dixon, Bryan Dixon, Carolyn Davis, Linda Davis, Shelia Dixon, Mary Anne Watkins and Betty Davis. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a host nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
