He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta "Sue" Patin Romain and Clifford Romain; and his sisters, Clare Bidol (John Bidol) and Cherry Legeaux (Ignatius Legeaux Sr.). He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Foster Romain; his children, Giselle Romain Relf (Ricardo Relf), Tina Romain Territa (late Michael Territa), Brunét J "Jay" Romain, Jr. (Natalie Carlisle Romain), Tracey Romain Fletes (Alejandro Fletes Jr.) and Misty Romain; and his grandchildren, Casey, Devin, Megan, Duane, Chelsea, Kristin, Anthony, Caitlyn, Briana, Kaylie and Alejandro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
