He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Raymond Bonura, Sr. and Susie Elizabeth Danna; and his brother Nicholas Bonura. He is survived by : his wife Marie Puipuro Bonura; his children, Kenny Bonura (Sandy) and Donna Bonura Camet (Ronald, Jr.); his grandchildren, Kal Bonura (Lindsey), Bret Bonura, Chip Bonura, Miranda Camet Plauche (Dwaine, Jr.) and Alyssa Camet; his great grandchild Giavanna Bonura; and his brother Marion Bonura, Jr. (Mary).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
