She was predeceased by : her parent Ebenezer Hurst; her husband Edward Nicols; her son Frederick Faulk; her brothers, Warren Hurst, Leroy Hurst, Harry Hurst and Bernard Hurst; and her grandson Teron Jelani Crawford.
She is survived by : her parent Geneva Hurst; her sons, Kinzie, Ebenezer, Raymond, Rene (Samantha), Marshall Faulk and Joseph Hurst; and her sister Irma McElveen. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
