It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Marie McGuire Ferrand of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar McGuire and Dorothy Knightshed; her husband Joseph Ferrand; and her granddaughters, Pamela Marie Richardson-Elliott and Monica Felicia Medice.
She is survived by: her children, Hayes Richardson Sr. (Lillie) and Lawrence Parker Sr.; her grandchildren, Darlene, Hayes Jr. (Shephill), Kendric (Andreleta), Lawrence Jr. and Tisha; her daughter Jacquline Chapman; her friends, Gaynell Gaines, Gloria James, Annie Miller and Bro. Myles Daniels; and her godchildren, George Garner and Min. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
