He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Sr. Henry and Ernestine Henry; his sons, Clarence Henry III and John Henry (Yolanda); and his sisters, Lizzie Charles, Corine Noel and Doris Madison.

He is survived by : his children, Carolyn Clark (Ivory Sr.), Charles Henry (Diane), Gwendolyn Simeon (Whitney III), Linda Jefferson (Nicholas III), Barbara Jackson (Marshall), Cathy Henry, Darryl Henry (Laura) and Lashawn Henry; his siblings, Ernestine Johnson and John Henry; his nephew Liroy Charles; his daughter Wander Bromwell; and his caregiver Patricia Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the L. B. Landry High School (1200 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans, LA 70114).
