She is survived by: her parents, Connie Pierce (Terry) and Curtis Alexander; her daughter Javon Miner; her siblings, Dr. Samika Miner, Wesley Alexander, Troyasia Banks (Moe), Kaneisha Carmouche, Curtis Sibley and Dwayne Spurlock; her siblings' children, Sa'metra Smith, Reginald Smith, Jr., Julien Pratt, Tahj Banks, Tye Banks, Armahd Mouton, Lawrence Honore and Blake Bean; her aunts and uncles, Brenda Dexheimer (Gordon), Grace Ducre (Perry), Vivian Sneed, Adise Allen, Shannon Jefferson, Sabrina Stevenon (Lyman), Sheila Millet (Michael Sr.), Margaret Thomas (Cleveland), Brenda Sawyer (Armond), Maranda Scott, Barbara Shepherd, Willie O'drick, Korey Fernandez and Oscar Miner, Jr.; and her great-uncle Keller Caulfield (Peggy). She is also survived by cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Boyd Family Funeral Home (5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, New Orleans, LA 70126). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 1:30 PM at the same location.
