He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Pooler, Sr. and Bertha Pooler; his grandparents, Irine, Pearl Pooler, Francis and Menon Jackson; his children, Dewan Pooler and Durrell Pooler; and his siblings, Lionel Pooler, Jr. and Bonnie Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Pooler; his children, Demetrius and Dealia Pooler; his siblings, Zonthia Thorton (Kevin), Leonard, Linwood Pooler, Sr. and Melvin Haywood; and his grandchildren, Demi, Demetrius II, Diamor and Evie Pooler. He is also survived by his dog MeMe; four god-children, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family and devoted friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home (2120 Jackson Ave, New Orleans, LA 70113). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
