She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma McGill Septh and Leon Septh Sr.; her husband John Thaddeus Felton; and her siblings, Audrey Butler of New Orleans and Surley Septh of New Orleans.

She is survived by: her children, Kirk (Barbara), Leslie, Guy (Cassandra) and Sean (Alrica); and her half-brothers, Leonard Septh of Overland Park, Kansas., Myron Septh and Kevin Septh. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
