We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 64, Donald William Bissant Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald William Bissant Sr. and Barbara Williams; his brother Reginald "Hustle" Bissant; his mother-in-law Vivian Ellison; his great-nephews, DeMaco and Calvin Junior; his great-niece Cali; and his sister-in-law Latonya Bissant.
He is survived by: his former wife Sharlen Bissant; his sons, Donald William Bissant 3rd and Dallas Love; his godsons, Jeremy Hill Sr. and Lawrence Williams; his siblings, Justin "JB" Bissant (Hope) and Karen Upchurch (Marion); his grandchildren, Rayonne, Donald, Ziyeh, London, Imari, Ariah and Laylonnie; and also Ariane Bissant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Murray Henderson Funeral Home (1209 Teche St, New Orleans, LA 70114). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
