She was predeceased by: her father Clay Thompson; her husband Austin LaVern Garner; and her sons, Steve and Carl. She is survived by: her brother Willie; and her children, Maxine, Malcolm, Willie and Elliot. She is also survived by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
