It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Bailey Boissuere of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton, Sr. Bailey and Alma Angelety Bailey; and her brothers, Felton, Kenneth and Ronnie Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Lambert Boissiere, Jr.; her children, Lambert Boissiere, III (Michelle) and Monique Boissiere-Shaw (Joshua); her grandchildren, Morgane, Lambert, IV and Andre "AJ"; her siblings, Brenda Gaines, Jean Henry and Errol Bailey (Susan); and her siblings-in-law, Renard Boissiere, Sr. (Antoinette), Linda and Johanna Bailey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Maria Goretti Church (7300 Crowder Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70126). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
