She was predeceased by: her former husband Elmer Triche; her husband Frank Mistretta; her parents, Thomas Wharton Shepard, Sr. and Emilie Pitot Shepard; her sons, Bernard Triche and Gerrard Triche; her daughter-in-law Donna B. Triche; her stepsons, Steve Mistretta, Sr. and Eric Mistretta; her stepson-in-law Merrick Matherne; and her siblings, Helena Bisio, Marjorie Tulier, Susan Baker, Madeleine Farnet and Thomas Wharton Shepard, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Triche (Stephanie), Douglas Triche (Bertha), James Triche (Shari) and Richard Triche (Grace); her stepchildren, Candy Matherne, Jan Mistretta, Jill Bergeron (Terryl), Robbie Mistretta (Ruth) and Marc Mistretta, Sr. (Debbie); her stepdaughter-in-law Faye Blanchard; her grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, Christopher, Erin, Taylor, Emilie, Lauren, Shane, Gabrielle, Katherine, Rebecca and Andrew; and her stepgrandchildren, Kiersten, Meridy, Megan, Rob, Jr., Tim, Ruthie, Stephanie, Marc Alan, Jr., Heidi, Monica, Troy, Layne, Eric, Logan and Stevie, Jr.. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren/step-great grandchildren.
