He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Peter Charbonnet, Sr. and Albertine Stephens; his significant other Celamcio M. Charbonnet; his wife Karen; his siblings, Anthony (Ramona), Vera (Adolph "Gabe"), Shirley (Peter "Pete"), Calvin (Glenda), Alice (Arthur) and Alcerdes; his brother-in-law Louis Barbe; and his children-in-law, Karen D. Charbonnet and Linus Coignet.
He is survived by: his children, Denise, Alcerdes (Elsie) and Steve; his great grandchildren, Danny "Zack" and Slim; his son Ernest "Freddie" (Cathy); his grandchildren, Sidney H. Cates, Lauren (Rodney Warner), Steve Charbonnet (Anya), Kevin Coignet (Marlena), Brian Coignet, Rachel Charbonnet and Crystal Downer; and his great grandchildren, Sidney, Olivia, Brian, Trenton, Dylaylan, Nace, Nivey and Maverick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
