It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora George Dupree of New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Henry Dupree; her parents, Sam George and Willie Alma George; her siblings, Gertrude Lockhart, Lillie Johnson, Bessie Bellazer, Althea Scott, Ola Sewell, Ivory George, Sr. and Clarence George; and her grandson George Renard Santa Cruz.
She is survived by: her children, George Renard Dupree (Barbara), Beverly Elaine Dupree, Gwendolyn Ann Dupree and Brian Keith Dupree; and her sister-in-law Bobbie George of Independence, LA.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church (2200 Louisiana Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
