We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2023, at the age of 71, Gloria Lucas Forrest of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sr. Lucas and Clementine Lucas; her son Glynn Simms; and her cousin Donnie Ballom. She is survived by: her children, Gayneil Simms, Clementine "Tina" Burton (Samuel), Tyrone, Anthony (Tammy), Veronica Forrest and Willie Lucas; her brother Harry Jr. Lucas (Alma); her sibling's children, Ashley, Whitney Lucas, Samuel and Marshawn Jenkins; her cousins, LaTonya Alhrout, Demetrice and Wanda Jean; and her friend Averielle Flowers. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren.
