She was predeceased by : her mother Elsie G. Brown-Dyer; her sister Brenda Brown Johnson; and her grandparents, Florestine Rollins, Lloyd Griffin Sr., James Brown Sr. and Stella Brown.
She is survived by : her father Willie E. Brown; her daughters, Robin M. Lewis and Teneika L. Steele (Dwayne J. Steele); her grandchildren, Kia M. Jackson, Kayla Steele, Kylan Steele, Kameron Steele, Kennedi Steele and Kelsie Steele; her siblings, Linda B. Jones, Robin E. Lovely, Andrea B. Lewis, Stephanie Brown (Lamar), Ivory Elmore Jr. (Natasha) and Willie Brown Jr. (Vanessa); her godchildren, Tahtia Jones-Thomas, Ireka E. Sanders and Chenita Morris; and her pet Oreo.
