She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Samuel Baptiste and Clementine Boutte Baptiste; her husband Raymond E. Firmin; and her sisters, Bernadine B. Demery, Anna Mae B. Santa Cruz, Audrey B. Francois, Dorothy B. Guter and Clementine B. Cager.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helene F. Belton (David) and Monique Firmin LaFonta; her sister Genevieve B. Garnett; her grandchildren, Macie Patrice LaFonta, David H. Belton, II (Lauren) and Davetta Belton (Jevon); and her great grandchildren, Marley and Nola Foster. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2022 St Bernard Ave, New Orleans, LA 70116). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
