He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Baptiste and Thelma Baptiste Sr.; his brother Herbert Baptiste Jr. (Eunice); his grandson Danté White; and his son-in-law Freddie White III.

He is survived by : his wife Margery Fernandez Baptiste; his children, Gina B. White (late Freddie III), Herman Baptiste Jr. and David Lee Baptiste Sr.; his daughter-in-law Sherre Baptiste; and also Helen Smith. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
