It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Roberts Jr. (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Roberts, Sr. and Louise Williams Roberts; and his daughter Debra Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Lerconga Roberts; and his children, Constance Lorick, Herman Roberts III, Carrie Mae, Earl Wright, Derrel Roberts, Dexter Roberts, Nadine Roberts-Cornish, Demetrice Tolliver, Dwight Roberts, Elizabeth St. Cyr, Stephanie Joseph, Derrick, Stacey and Sean Roberts (Lerconga Roberts). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Church (5600 Read Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70127). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church (5600 Read Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70127). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Dr, Slidell, LA 70460).
