It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Crawford Rhea Sr. (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence P. Rhea; and his brother Roy Rhea. He is survived by: his mother Ella Mae Oten-Rhea (Rhea); his close friend Jennifer Davis; his children, Timothy Brooks, Theresa Cox, Quintasha Rhea, James Rhea Jr., Crystal Chester, Jamie Chester, Jasmine Rhea, Nyshea Rhea, Rahjonay Rhea and Armani Chester; and his siblings, Elnora Cockerhan, Lawrence Rhea Jr., Ann Rhea, Darrell Rhea, Joseph Rhea and Allen Rhea. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Burial will be private. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending is encouraged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
