Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jesse Lee leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucille Cole, (Thompson) and Edward Cole, Sr. (Octavia); his wife Mary Price Thompson; and his children, Jesse Thompson Jr., Denise Magee, Lisa Thompson and Patricia Thompson. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Second St. John Missionary Baptist Church (242 Avondale Garden Rd, Avondale, LA 70094). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
