Joann Woods Martina Obituary

Joann Woods Martina, 68, of New Orleans, La. passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was a native of New Orleans and formerly a resident of the West Bank. Joann was a member of the Catholic Faith. Her favorite memory was growing up with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, and rooting for the New Orleans Saints.

She is preceded in death by her Son, Steven Dugas, Daughter, Jennifer Dugas, Parents, Joseph and Alma Woods, Sisters, Dottie Marshall, Carol Waguespack, Mary Young and Shirley Woods.

Joann is survived by her Sons, Frank Deffes Jr. and wife Leah of PA., Jason Deffes and Steffane of Hammond, La., Brother, Elvin Woods of Metairie, La., Sister, Cheryl Glass of Metairie, La. and 5 Grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation was entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, La.
