He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fenerty, Jr. and Anna Plegat Fenerty. He is survived by: his children, Katherine "Katie" Fenerty-Lanphere (Brad) and John "Jack" Joseph Fenerty, IV (Katelyn); his former wife Sally; and his brothers, Thomas Fenerty and Joseph Fenerty (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces and a nephew.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Metairie Cemetery (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
