In the sacred silence of farewell, Joyce is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joyce's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Fannaly, II and Josie Yochim Fannaly Freeman; and her friend Carolyn S. Perseveaux. She is survived by: her brother John J. Fannaly, III; and her pets, Jerry Atric and Ebony.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Joyce and Carolyn really enjoyed traveling together and sailed away on 67 cruises, (number 68 was cancelled due to COVID-19).
