She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morgan Coney Jr. (Jimmy) and Clare Nolan Coney (Nolan); and her brothers, James Morgan Coney III and Nolan George Coney. She is survived by: her children, Philip James Battaglia (Kelly) of Houston and Kristin Dent Rathbun (Ben) of Cypress, Texas; her sister Karen Coney Mathews of Frisco, Texas; her grandchildren, Taylor Lamar Battaglia (Hunter Loyacano) of College Station, Zachary Philip Battaglia (Sarah) of Houston, David Austin Rathbun (Jordon) of Cypress, Mallory Clare Battaglia of Houston and Ethan James Rathbun of Cypress, Texas; her niece Marissa Mathews Kelly (Kirk) of Fort Worth, Texas; and her great-nieces, Kanon and Clare Kelly.
