It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Anne Nissel (New Orleans, Louisiana), who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine Friedman and Charles James Nissel, Sr.; her stepfather Joseph Friedman; and her brother Charles Nissel, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Isabel; her sister Leslie (Rick); her sibling's child Ashley; her aunt Mary Lynne; her sibling's children, John and Alison; and also, James and Travis. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be considered in her name to St. Mary's Residential Training School in Alexandria, LA, or the Pinnacles Program of the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department.
