We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2025, at the age of 72, Louis Joseph Maco Jr. (New Orleans, Louisiana), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Louis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Pauline Maco and Louis J. Maco, Sr.; and his former wife Floris Relfe. He is survived by: his son Phillip Wesley Maco (Rachel Vidacovich Maco); his granddaughters, Jolie Desiree, Simone Floris and Corinne Catherine Maco; and his sister Mary.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home (5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
