She was predeceased by : her parents, Pearline Hunter Gunter and R. B. Gunter; her siblings, Robert Clyde Gunter, George Henry Gunter, Willis Horace Gunter and Mavis Lynn Gunter Weaver; and her brothers-in-law, Elton Weaver and James Stinson.
She is survived by : her husband Albert Francis "Bert" Doussan, III; her children, Sheryl Doussan Galiano (Nicky), Alison Page Doussan, Herman A. Doussan (Michelle), Albert F. "Bert" Doussan, IV (Loann) and Randy H. Doussan Spears (Rosalie); her grandchildren, Courtney Lee Morgan, Ashley Lauren Bean (Daniel), Spencer Wayne Doussan, Brittany Marie Doussan, Ross Wain Doussan (Matlin), Abbie Lutenbacher Monjure (Kevin), Kori Celeste Lutenbacher and Katie Galiano; her great grandchildren, Nicole, Brylee, Hartlee, Kaitlyn, Blake, Aubrey, Allison and Addilyn; and her siblings, Jarrell Jerome Gunter, Patricia Ann Gunter Adams (David), Linda Gunter Kennedy and Evelyn "Nita" Gunter Stinson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Burial will be private. We ask that all who attend please wear a mask and respect safe social distancing.
Her favorite charities were St. Jude, American Cancer Society, Raintree for Children, Vietnam Veterans of America and the Leukemia Society.
