We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2022, at the age of 93, Mary Brown Hillard of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brown and Camilla Brown (David Hilliard, Sr.); her siblings, Tom Brown, James Brown, Julian B. Jones, Camilla Doherty and Venetia B. Jackson; her children, Freddie, Oliver, Bruce Hilliard and Camilla Ann Hilliard; and her great grandchildren, Troy Pierce and Brandon Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Bobbie H. Hargrove, David Hilliard, Robert Hilliard, Patricia H. Decoud, Sharon H. Cottrell (Elias) and Mary Decoud (Earl); her sister Lora Raby; her godmother Rita Williams; and her adoptive daughter Jeanna Becnel. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
