She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Scales; her son Dwayne Russ; her parents, Royal Ursin, Sr. and Agnes Reaux; her grandparents, Edward and Alberta Woodard, Sr.; her siblings, Malcolm, Reginald Ursin, Tyrone Randolph, Barbara Badie, Jocelyn Andrews and Linda Ursin; and her uncles, Alfred and Eugene Woodard.
She is survived by: her uncle Edward Woodard, Jr.; and her siblings, Deborah Warren, Kelvin, Royal Ursin, Jr. and Edward Randolph.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Second Morning Star Baptist Church (2616 St Andrew St, New Orleans, LA 70113). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
